Hi! I'm Michaela,

I help students discover that math and writing can be stress-free—even if it seems difficult at first! With the right support, kids can gain confidence and skills to tackle challenges with ease.

In addition, I help take the pressure off parents by providing clear, effective strategies to help their child at home. No more struggling to explain tricky math concepts or writing techniques—I make learning simple, engaging, and frustration-free for the whole family!

I am a licensed elementary teacher with endorsements in Gifted Education and Teaching Students of Other Languages (ESL), bringing over 20 years of experience in classroom teaching and tutoring. I am committed to helping students build confidence and develop strong skills in math and writing through engaging, personalized instruction.

As an educator I believe in ongoing learning to grow and be a stronger educator. I have completed three graduate degrees in education and continuously seek professional development opportunities to ensure my teaching methods are effective and research-based. I also have specialized training in Orton-Gillingham math, a proven multi-sensory approach that helps students grasp math concepts in a hands-on, meaningful way.
