Duration: Meets as many times as decided between teacher and parent but Michaela recommends 3 sessions a week.

Multi-sensory math tutoring is designed to help students with math difficulties like dyscalculia or students who just need a hands on approach to learning math. Michaela will customize the session based on the Orton-Gillingham approach which is direct, systematic, multi-sensory, and structured. Michaela utilizes the CRA method (Concrete/Representational/Abstract) to create a solid math foundation.
Parents must be willing to supply manipulatives which can be purchased via Amazon or many other vendors. A list of items needed will be provided once tutoring has been scheduled.
A brief phone meeting is required to discuss your child’s needs before meetings are scheduled.
